Production Operative SPLIT SHIFT


The Production Operative prepares customer parts for various electroplating operations with a high regard for attention to detail on parts, work orders and Standard Operating Procedures.  Works closely with Team Leader and General Foreman to ensure daily job schedules are communicated, adhered to and met for high quality output and customer service.  Daily processing of parts for plating which includes but is not limited to:  General inspection (and counting) of parts, abrasive blasting, racking parts, accurate recording of plating time and processing information, cleaning of parts, masking/de-masking and moving parts to the next process.  Work is subject to inspection and check as well as audits.  Production Operatives may perform other duties as required and may be utilized in other areas of processing as work load may dictate.  Keep facility, materials and work area clean and organized, exercising care in their use.  Uses safety practices and all required PPE.  This job description is not intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in this classification.  Shown are duties intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities.  Incumbents may not be required to perform all duties listed and may be required to perform additional, position specific duties.   These are full-time positions Monday - Friday 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.  Must be 18 years of age.  Pre-employment drug testing required as well as participation in the FAA random drug and alcohol testing program.
