Chrome Plating

Chromium plating, also known as Hard or Industrial Chromium, is applied to ferrous and non-ferrous metals (steel and copper). Chromium deposits improve abrasion and wear resistance, provide corrosion protection, reduce friction and prevent galling and seizing to improve the overall performance of manufactured components. Chromium plating is also applied for the purpose of restoring parts to their original dimensional tolerances. Chromium plating has useful applications in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, marine, and medical.
