Masking-Production Operative

Description:

The Masking Operative performs a variety of production tasks to prepare aerospace (or other) components for various electroplating or painting operations with a high regard for attention to detail. Daily processing of parts for plating or painting includes but is not limited to: general inspection (and counting) of parts, cleaning of parts, masking/de-masking parts, moving parts to other departments for processing or to inspection.  Daily communication with the departmental supervisor, team leaders and foreman for scheduling work and any possible special needs or changes to work orders prior to processing.  Masking Operatives may perform other duties as required and may be utilized in other areas of processing as work load may dictate.  

Keep facility, materials and work area clean and organized, exercising care in their use.  Strict compliance to all OSHA and HCC safety policies and procedures.

Our industry is regulated by FAA rules and therefore work is audited and employees in production are required to participate in our random drug and alcohol program.  

Pre-employment physical and drug screen are required as well.  

ITAR regulations state that employees must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.  

This is a full-time position and on-the-job training is provided.  

First Shift is M-F 7:00 am - 3:30pm and Split Shift is M-F 12:00 pm - 8:30pm.   Both shifts have positions available.  Entry Level starting rate is $18.50/hour (+ 15% for Split Shift).
